1. Agreement & License

By downloading or using Beacon Rest, you agree to these terms.

What You Get

You can create an account, download, install, and play Beacon Rest on your personal iOS devices for free!

Account Required

• You must create an account to play
• Sign up with email/password or Apple Sign In
• One account per person
• You're responsible for account security

What You Can't Do

• Share your account with others
• Create multiple accounts
• Modify, hack, or reverse engineer the app
• Use bots or automation to play
• Share exploits or cheats
• Use the app for commercial purposes
• Copy or redistribute the app

2. Your Account & Game Data

Account Creation

• Required to play Beacon Rest
• Must provide valid email and birth date
• Must be accurate and truthful

Progress Saving

Your game progress is automatically saved to our servers and linked to your account.

You Can

• Play on multiple devices with the same account
• Delete your account anytime in Settings
• Migrate existing progress to your new account

We May

• Update game content and features
• Perform maintenance
• Discontinue features at our discretion
• Delete inactive accounts after 1 year

Not Our Fault

We're not responsible for progress lost due to:

• Device issues or failures
• Network problems
• App updates
• You deleting your account
• You forgetting your password

3. Ads & Rewards

What to Expect

• The app shows ads from Google AdMob
• You can watch up to 3 rewarded ads per day
• 5-minute cooldown between ads
• Ad rewards help you progress faster

Your Choices

• Watching ads is completely optional
• You can opt out of personalized ads
• The game works fully without ads

We Don't Guarantee

• Specific reward amounts
• Ad availability at all times
• That ads will always load

4. Ownership

What's Ours

Everything in Beacon Rest belongs to us:

• All code, graphics, and design
• Story, narrative, and dialogue
• Game mechanics and systems
• Trademarks and branding

What's Yours

You own your saved game progress. That's it!

5. Privacy & Data Collection

We collect and store:

• Account information (email, birth date, password)
• Gameplay data (choices, resources, progress)
• Ad interaction data

We use this data to:

• Save your progress across devices
• Verify age requirements
• Provide personalized game content
• Show ads to support the free app

6. No Warranty (The Legal Stuff)

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES.

Translation:

• We can't promise the app will work perfectly
• Bugs happen, crashes happen
• We'll fix issues when we can
• But we don't legally guarantee anything

7. Limitation of Liability

Maximum Liability: $0 (the app is free)

We're Not Liable For

• Lost profits or data
• Phone damage or issues
• Indirect or consequential damages
• Time spent playing the game

8. Termination

We Can

• Terminate your access anytime
• Shut down the app if needed

You Can

• Stop using the app anytime
• Delete it from your device

9. Updates & Changes

App Updates

• We may release updates anytime
• Updates may add or remove features
• Older versions may stop working

Terms Updates

• We may update these Terms anytime
• Check back periodically
• Continued use = acceptance of changes

10. Disputes

Governing Law: United States

Dispute Resolution

1. Contact us first to resolve issues
2. Binding arbitration if we can't agree
3. No class action lawsuits

11. Age Requirements

Minimum Age

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Age Verification

Beacon Rest is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we discover that a user under 18 has created an account, we will delete it immediately.

12. Miscellaneous

Severability: If one part is invalid, the rest still applies.

Assignment: You can't transfer these Terms. We can assign them to others.

Entire Agreement: This + Privacy Policy = complete agreement.
